Wellbeing
& Culture

Wellbeing is not just about feeling good. It encompasses many areas of life, and at its core, it is about sustaining the ability to function well physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. Most modern models centre around several key needs.

Physical

Your body is the foundation of your wellbeing. Without physical stability, mental and emotional stability become much harder to sustain. Physical wellbeing doesn’t always mean being supremely active – it can be as simple as getting enough steps in, or being active for just ten minutes at a time.

Mental

Mental wellbeing doesn’t mean being constantly happy. It means understanding your emotions, tolerating discomfort, recovering from stress and responding rather than reacting. Emotional flexibility is a strong predictor of resilience.

Financial

Financial wellness looks different for everyone, but the basics are about having a healthy relationship with money. It is not about being rich – it is about being able to meet your current needs and feel confident about your financial future. A key part of that is knowing what is essential versus what is discretionary.

Being able to put a meal on the table is essential; having that fancy coffee is discretionary. You might want it, but do you need it? Knowing the difference and being able to plan accordingly is essential to a healthy relationship with money.

Strengths & Talents

Do you know what your innate talents are? Do you know what you are really good at, how you learn, and how you prefer to receive and process information? Do you really know, deep down, who you are and how you operate? Understanding your own strengths is one of the most powerful foundations for a fulfilling and effective working life.

Engagement In The Workplace

Engagement in the workplace doesn’t come from telling people what they should think, how they should feel, or what they should be doing. It comes from understanding who an individual is and how they process information.

Do you have someone who comes to you with a brilliant idea hours or days after a meeting or workshop? They are your reflective, conceptual people. Do you have someone who comes out with grand, bold ideas immediately? They are your action-oriented, conceptual people. Do you have someone who comes back weeks later with a fully evidenced action plan? They are your reflective, data-driven people.

Knowing how to identify them and get the best from everyone makes for better engagement. Not everyone can immediately come out with the great idea that changes the game – but given the right structure, you get the best outcome from everyone.

Confidence Building & Self Defence

Being confident comes from within, but it is massively influenced by the environment in which someone operates. Are you really building a psychologically safe environment? Is everyone able to say what they think and feel without fear of recrimination? Having a confident and psychologically secure team directly impacts the bottom line, your reputation and your culture.

Self defence can be both physical and internal. Practical skills for physically defending yourself are valuable, but so are the tools to protect your mental wellbeing – and I can offer both.

Do you have pre-built workshops or lessons?

No, I create each programme to fit the needs of my clients.

How long does each programme typically run?

It varies depending on the client and what we are trying to achieve together. We will always discuss timelines during the initial conversation, so you know what to expect.
